Peace and Development Foundation(PDF)
Introduction
PDF is an independent, non-profit, non-government organization established to encourage development through supporting, strengthening and promoting peace, human development and social well-being across the society. The PDF supports human development endeavours and links the communities with the government service delivery departments, donors, NGOs and the private sector. The PDF is a civil society organization that works on two tiers, one at policy and strategic initiative level and the other at the implementation level with special focus on capacity development of institutions, organizations and individuals. The PDF contributes to and promotes a culture of peace, social justice and human development through proactive advocacy and establishing associations, connections, research and strategic thinking between all those like-minded people who are working for the cause of and promotion of peace and human development.
